PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a spacer member disposed between a roller member and a cover member from being worn early.SOLUTION: An eccentric oscillation type speed reducer 12 includes: an internal gear 14; an external gear 16; an input shaft (an eccentric body shaft) 18; a flange member 36; a pin member 38 which penetrates through a through hole 16A provided at the external gear; a roller member 40 into which the pin member 38 fits; and a cover 54 disposed at the other side part of the external gear when viewed in an axial direction. In the eccentric oscillation type speed reducer 12, a spacer 70 is disposed between the roller member 40 and the cover 54, the external gear 16 includes a recessed part 16D which houses the spacer 70, and an inner peripheral surface 70B and an outer peripheral surface 70A of the spacer 70 contact with the external gear 16. |
