The present invention provides an image sensor with a single-slope scheme applying a 2-step structure and a multiple differential ramping up/down signal, an operation method thereof, and devices including the image sensor. The operation method of the image sensor includes the steps of: (a) generating a plurality of ramping up/down signals; and (b) comparing a pixel signal outputted from a pixel with a first ramping up/down signal among the ramping up/down signals. The method further includes the steps of: (c) comparing the pixel signal with the first ramping up/down signal at one or more sampling times during an image section; and outputting a second ramping up/down signal among the ramping up/down signals based on a result of the step (c). |
