Power generating equipment using wave forces

The present invention relates to a power generating apparatus using a wave force and, more specifically, to a power generating apparatus using a wave force, which generates power by winding or unwinding a rope using the wave force. The power generating apparatus using the wave force comprises a fixing unit, a first floating unit, a string, a guiding bar, a vertical moving unit, a power generating unit, and a rope unit. The fixing unit can sink on a bottom in water. The weight of the first floating unit can be adjusted by the adjustment of the amount of water in the first floating unit. The string connects the fixing unit and the first floating unit so that the first floating unit can be fixed to the fixing unit. One end of the guiding bar is coupled to the first floating unit and is able to rotate. The vertical moving unit is installed to be able to vertically move along the guiding bar by the wave force when waves swell. The power generating unit includes: a roller installed at the vertical moving unit; a power transmitting part to transmit the rotating force of the roller; and a generator driven by the power transmitted by the power transmitting part. The rope unit has a rope rotating the roller depending on the vertical movement of the vertical moving unit. According to the present invention, the power generating apparatus can be simply realized by a simple power generating mechanism whereby the rope is wound or unwound to generate the power when the vertical moving unit is moved vertically by the waves.
