<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand such that a cabinet end surface is resistant to water strained and excellent in construction properties facilitating fine adjustment of a position of a bowl when constructed, and to provide a method for assembling the washstand.SOLUTION: A washstand 1 includes: a cabinet 2; an edge cover 6 mounted on a top surface 26 of a side plate 7 of the cabinet 2; and a lavatory bowl 3 fixed to the upper part of the cabinet 2. A fastener 8 allowed to move in only one direction is passed through a bottom surface 10 of the lavatory bowl 3 and the edge cover 6. The lavatory bowl 3 and the cabinet 2 are fixed via the fastener 8. A groove part 12 for engaging an engagement part 40 of the fastener 8 is formed at a position corresponding to side plates 7 at both sides of the cabinet 2, on the bottom surface 10 of the lavatory bowl 3.</p> |
