<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sounding body module for a display device, which has a thin shape and characteristics of high sound pressure and high sound quality, and can reduce the bezel width of a display portion.SOLUTION: On a back surface side of a liquid crystal display portion 20 of a smart phone 10, a piezoelectric sounding body 50 is supported by a sound guiding attachment 32. The sound guiding attachment 32 is composed of a bottom surface portion 34 receiving the piezoelectric sounding body 50 and a side surface portion 36. The bottom surface portion 34 forms a first cavity portion 60 between the piezoelectric sounding body 50 and a housing bottom surface 12B. The side surface portion 36 has a second cavity portion 62 which is formed on a side part of the piezoelectric sounding body 50 and a liquid crystal portion 20, communicated to the first cavity portion 60, and connected to a sound emission hole 64 on a surface side of the liquid crystal display portion 20 to open. By configuring a sound guiding path with the first cavity portion 60 and the second cavity portion 62, a sound transmission distance becomes long, and a sound pressure level in a high sound area is reduced. Consequently, sound quality is improved as a whole.</p> |
