<p>2-Substd. 5-amino isoxazole derivs. Isoxazoles of formula (I) have muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic and anti-bacterial properties. where R = phenyl, furyl or thienyl; R1 = NH2 (free, or in the form of an acid salt or a quaternary ammonium group), -N=CHR2 or -NHCOR3; R2 = phenyl, furyl, or thiophenyl, opt. subst. by NO2; R3=alkyl (opt. subst. by Cl) monochloro thiophenyl, adamantyl or tert amino alkyl, the tert, amino gps. derived from di-C1-C4 alkylamines, pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine, hexamethyleneimine, piperazine or N- carbethoxy piperazine. The cpds. are prepared by reaction of NH2OH.HCl with cyanacetyl benzene, 2-cyanacetyl furan or 2-cyanacetyl. thiophene to give (I), R1=NH2 followed, if desired by conversion of the amino group into another group R1 by known methods.</p> |
