<p>A method of pad printing comprising: a) preparing (52) a self-assembled layer of molecules covering a contact face of the pad, a self-assembled layer being a layer in which the main chains of the self-assembled molecules are parallel to each other and form an angleαthat is strictly less than 90° with the direction normal to the contact face, less polar groups of the self-assembled molecules being adsorbed on the contact face and more polar groups being turned outward from the pad such that the wettability of the contact face covered with the self-assembled layer corresponds to an angle of contact with distilled water of which the value is less than 70°, b) then, following step a), moving (62) the pad to bring the self-assembled layer into contact with the face to be printed, and c) next, removing (66) the pad to leave the self-assembled layer on the face to be printed.</p> |
