FIELD: physics, optics.SUBSTANCE: compact device for recording picture holograms comprises a laser, a beam splitter and signal and reference wave channels. The output part of the reference wave channel is fitted with a monolithic optical element in the form of a cylinder made of optically transparent material with a reflecting outer surface. A diffractive axicon is deposited on the input end surface of said cylinder.
