The device for processing paper sheets comprises a feeding device, a gripping mechanism, an inspection unit, a stacking device and a bundling device. The stacking device is made with the ability to stack the determined number of paper sheets. The bundling device is made with the ability to wind the tape around the stacked bundle of paper sheets. The bundling device comprises a clamping mechanism, a tape winding device, and a heater. The clamping mechanism is made with the ability to bend the stacked bundle of paper sheets by pressing both side parts of the stacked bundle. The tape winding device is made with the ability of winding the package tape around the bent stacked bundle of paper sheets. The heater is made with the ability of heat sealing the edge of the wound package tape. The clamping mechanism comprises a clamping element.
