<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a housing (1) equipped with a driving input shaft (2) and an output shaft (3) to which movement of the input shaft is transmitted. A belt (20) of endless belt transmission is wound around a driven pulley (4) that is supported by the input shaft. A tensioning roller (5) tensions the belt, and is mounted to move between active and inactive positions corresponding to tensioning and released positions of the belt. The roller is supported by the housing. The roller is coupled to the housing by a lever (6) i.e. pivoting lever, external to the housing. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Transmission device for transmitting rotation movement of a part to an output shaft of a wheel of a self-propelled machine e.g. self-propelled rotating machine (claimed) i.e. lawn mower. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the device reduces obstruction and number of parts required for better operation of the device. The tensioning roller is mounted directly on the housing so as to simplify architecture of assembly and possibility of using the tensioning roller as holding unit of the belt in a groove of the pulley.
