<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The assembly (10) has a pump (14) comprising a piston (26) to compress fluid in a compression chamber (20) formed by a frame (18). A cylindrical push rod (30) has a support surface engaging with a head of the piston to push the piston and a stop surface allowing insertion of the head in the push rod until contact of the head with the support surface in relative position of the head and the push rod. The stop surface prevents extraction of the head in another relative position of the head and the push rod. The push rod is guided in translation in a pipe (28) formed in a combustion engine (12). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Combustion engine i.e. diesel engine and pump e.g. fuel pressure pump, assembly for use in a motor vehicle (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The compression chamber is integrated on the combustion engine to reduce mass of the assembly so as to reduce the mass of the vehicle and decrease emission of carbon dioxide as well as to reduce encumbrance with respect to architecture of the engine.
