<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture water flow energy to generate electricity in view of features of this energy that wave accompanies with not only vertical motion of original wave itself, but also accompanies at its extremity end "water flow that is short in length, but facing toward its advancing direction", has enormous energy riding over tetrapod protecting banks in some locations and hitting to crash the bank protection breakwater of RC structure irrespective of the fact that a wave transmitting speed becomes slow near a land, the wave suitable for sports of surfing is seen.SOLUTION: There is provided a power generation device having a water collector device and a water turbine so as to orient in respect to a wave advancing direction by about 45°. With this arrangement as above, since the wave getting energy from a plurality of waves with a space between a wave and its subsequent wave being 10 m to a little over 10 m and realizing a smooth rotation runs on the devices while forming about 45° with respect to the device, it can take energy smoothly. This is highly characterized in that a continuous rotating force is attained from a plurality of waves by setting a length of the water turbine to several tens m to several hundreds m.</p> |
