<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for easily and quickly obtaining a glucose aqueous solution using biomass as a raw material.SOLUTION: A method for producing a glucose aqueous solution by hydrolyzing biomass includes: a first treatment step (1) of subjecting the biomass to heat treatment in a mineral acid aqueous solution of 0.01-7 wt.% and then separating the biomass into a treated liquid and a residue; and a second treatment step (2) of subjecting the residue to heat treatment in a mineral acid aqueous solution of the same concentration that in the first treatment step (1) and then separating the residue into a treated liquid and a residue. It is preferable that the second treatment step (2) is carried out 1-8 times. It is preferable that the method includes a neutralization step (3) of neutralizing the treated liquid with an alkali.</p> |
