<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress of deviation of the position giving the maximum outside diameter relative to the axial-direction central position of a core metal, in producing a crown-shaped rubber roll in which the axial-direction central side is thicker than both end sides.SOLUTION: In a method of producing a rubber roll, a rubber material G is extruded in a cylindrical form; a core metal 22 is charged; and a rubber roll part 56 is taken out. Taking the axial-direction total length of the core metal 22 as 1, increase and decrease of the charging speed V2 of the core metal 22 are set so as to get the lowest in a specified range M of the charging-direction length of the core metal 22 from the tip position of 0.30-0.48, and the maximum outside diameter is formed in the axial-direction central part of the core metal 22, suppressing deviation of the position giving the maximum outside diameter of a rubber roll 70 in the axial direction of the core metal 22 relative to the central position of the core metal 22.</p> |
