<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device for achieving an insertion and removal mechanism for turning on and off a polarization filter and a driving mechanism for adjusting a polarization angle with a common mechanism and to provide a filter unit.SOLUTION: A camera device 10A includes an imaging element 21 and a polarization filter 31 transmitting a light beam having a predetermined polarization component among light beams made incident on the imaging element 21. The polarization filter 31 is supported by a frame part 37 and a motor 33 moving the frame part 37 is provided. The motor 33 is rotated to move the frame part 37, so that the polarization filter 31 is inserted into and removed from an imaging area R of the imaging element 21 and the polarization filter 31 is rotated in an insertion position, to adjust a polarization angle. Thus, an insertion and removal mechanism for turning on and off the polarization filter 31 and a driving mechanism for adjusting the polarization angle can be achieved with the common mechanism.</p> |
