PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-friction coating film usable even at a high temperature at which molybdenum disulfide cannot be used.SOLUTION: A coating film 10 is formed by using a PVD method. The coating film 10 includes a metal nitride layer 11 formed on the surface of a base metal, a titanium carbonitride layer 12 laminated thereon, and a titanium carbide layer 13 laminated thereon and exposed to the surface. The hardness of the titanium carbide layer 13 is 15 GPa or less.
