The present invention relates to a bearing (1) for internal combustion engines, usually bearings used in connecting rods and internal combustion engine blocks. The bearing according to the present invention comprises: a steel supporting layer (2); a lining layer (3), including a Cu alloy, placed on top of the steel supporting layer (2); an Ni-based anti-diffusion barrier layer (4) placed on top of the lining layer (3); and an anti-friction layer (5) including a matrix of Sn-Zn and precipitates of Zn, said anti-friction layer (5) being placed on top of the anti-diffusion barrier layer (4).
