The present invention relates to a magnesium silicate. A magnesium silicate that can be sintered at a temperature ≤ 1200 °C is based on the general chemical formula: MgxZnyXz[SiO4], where 1.00 ≤ x ≤ 1.99, 0.01 ≤ y ≤ 0.32, 0 ≤ z ≤ 0.10, and X is calcium and/or manganese and/or iron. The invention further relates to a corresponding ceramic material, a corresponding injection-moulded component, a corresponding production process, and also a high-temperature cell and an energy system, more particularly a combined heat and power system. |
