<p>This conveyor belt (13) is provided with: a rubber body (14) extending in the belt lengthwise direction; tension elements (15) embedded within the rubber body (14) along the entire periphery in the belt lengthwise direction; and a loop coil (16) embedded within the rubber body (14), and having annular shape in plan view seen from the belt thickness direction (T). The loop coil (16) is embedded closer towards one side in the belt thickness direction (T) within the rubber body (14), while the tension elements (15) are embedded closer towards the other side relative to the loop coil (16), in the belt thickness direction (T) within the rubber body (14). The loop coil (16) is arranged on a cloth-like reinforcing material (17) embedded within the rubber body (14), the Young's modulus of the cloth-like reinforcing material (17) in the belt width direction (H) being higher than the Young's modulus of the rubber body (14) in the belt width direction (H), and higher than the Young's modulus of the cloth-like reinforcing material (17) in the belt lengthwise direction. According to this conveyor belt (13), longitudinal rips can be detected with good accuracy.</p> |
