PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor capable of suppressing scattering of particles in a used stainless steel products, so as to prevent a failure of a disk drive device, which is caused by a trouble that the particles adhere to a surface of a magnetic disk leading to crash of the particles and a magnetic head.SOLUTION: The spindle motor includes a fixed section and a rotation section either one of which is made of stainless steel. A metal film is formed on the surface of the stainless steel by electroless nickel plating. |
