PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup capable of easily and quickly attach a light split element to a photo-detector, and suppressing reduction of signal accuracy due to disturbance such as scratch, soil, or the like of an optical disk.SOLUTION: An optical pickup 1 is configured so that light split by a light split element 20 is received by a light receiving element disposed at a light receiving surface of a light receiving part 30. The optical pickup 1 comprises four-division light receiving means 37a to 37d for detecting a position adjustment beam, disposed in two dimension arrangement, and divided into four equal segments. In the optical pickup 1, position adjustment of the light split element 20 is performed on the basis of the position adjustment beam received by each of the four-division light receiving means 37a to 37d. |
