PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing time control device capable of quickly shifting to an intermediate lock phase.SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing time control device 1 includes a vane 22 for partitioning a fluid pressure chamber 4 into a retard chamber 42 for moving a relative rotation phase of a driven-side rotating member 2 to a driving-side rotating member 12 in a retard direction, and an advance chamber for moving the relative rotation phase in an advance direction, an intermediate lock mechanism 6 capable of switching a lock member 64 disposed on the driving-side rotating member 12 to a locked state where the lock member is fitted into a recessed portion 62 formed on the driven-side rotating member 2 to restrict the relative rotation phase in an intermediate lock phase, and an unlocked state where the lock member 64 is retracted from the recessed portion 62 to release the restriction, and a phase control portion 180 controlling supply/discharge of a fluid to the retard chamber 42 and the advance chamber so that the lock member 64 reaches the intermediate lock phase by controlling a moving speed from a reference phase to the intermediate lock phase to be lower than a moving speed to the reference phase when the intermediate lock mechanism 6 is switched from the unlocked state to the locked state. |
