PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release mechanism capable of reducing its axial length.SOLUTION: In a release mechanism, a hydraulic actuator 31 which generates a load depending on a hydraulic pressure supplied and transmits it to a bearing 28, the bearing 28 which is arranged in contact with a diaphragm spring 23 for transmitting the load directed to isolate a pressure plate 11 from a clutch disc 12, and a return spring 32 which gives spring force to the bearing 28 in the same direction as the direction of the load which the hydraulic actuator 31 gives to the bearing 28, are arranged to overlap one another in the axial direction of an output side rotary member 4. The bearing 28 is arranged on the outer periphery side of the hydraulic actuator 31 in the radial direction of the output side rotary member 4, and the return spring 32 is arranged on the outer periphery side of the bearing 28. |
