PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin film solar cell using an organic thin film layer composed of a blend of donor polymer and an acceptor fullerene, in which power generation efficiency can be enhanced furthermore.SOLUTION: Between a positive electrode 20 and a negative electrode 50, a power generation layer 40 is formed by superposing organic thin film layers (41(1)-41(n)) containing organic substances having characteristics different from each other. In the spectral sensitivity characteristics, i.e., the characteristics of absorbancy for the wavelength of light used for power generation, the plurality of organic thin film layers have single or a plurality of peaks where the absorbancy increases partially, and the wavelength at some peaks in the spectral sensitivity characteristics of some organic thin film layer and the wavelength at some peaks in the spectral sensitivity characteristics of other organic thin film layer are selected to be different from each other. |
