PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus capable of suppressing distortion of an output current that is generated when a continuous mode and a discontinuous mode are switched.SOLUTION: A control circuit obtains the duty ratio of a CCMFF term during step down and the duty ratio of a DCMFF term during step down and selects any one of the obtained duty ratio of the CCMFF term during step down and the duty ratio of the DCMFF term during step down so that the duty ratio of the feed forward term during step down continuously varies relative to the output voltage of a power conversion circuit to make it the feed forward term during step down. It is the same for the feed forward term during pressure rise. The duty ratio of the feed forward term during step down and during pressure rise continuously varies. Therefore, distortion of the output current generated when a continuous mode and a discontinuous mode are switched can be suppressed.
