PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insolubilizing agent for water-soluble radioactive cesium and a method for insolubilizing water-soluble radioactive cesium.SOLUTION: Nickel ferrocyanide, which is used as an insolubilizing agent for water-soluble radioactive cesium, is added to a material with a high pH containing the water-soluble radioactive cesium to control radioactive cesium leaching and to insolubilize the radioactive cesium. Water is added to incineration ash containing the radioactive cesium for washing and the insolubilizing agent is added to the obtained washing liquid to remove the radioactive cesium selectively. The insolubilizing agent which insolubilized the radioactive cesium is solidified with cement to insolubilize the water-soluble radioactive cesium.
