PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the occurrence of a failure of decoding and transmission or the increase of costs when a tire air pressure sensor and a tire air pressure receiver communicate with a signal transponder by using two different communication protocols.SOLUTION: A signal transponder 10 for transmitting/receiving a signal using different communication protocols has a control module 11, a reception module 12 and a transmission module 13. The control module is electrically connected to the reception module and the transmission module, and incorporated with a plurality of communication protocols. The control module is configured to decode a tire air pressure signal transmitted from an external tire air pressure sensor, and encoded by using one of the communication protocols, and to encode the decoded information into a new tire air pressure signal, and to transmit the new tire air pressure signal to a tire air pressure receiver 30. |
