PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both power transmission efficiency and safety in wireless power transmission.SOLUTION: A power reception device includes: request means for requesting power of a power transmission device; detection means for detecting a transmission power output change of the power transmission device according to the request by the request means; and switchover means for switching, according to the detection by the detection means, from a disconnection state to a connection state between an antenna for receiving power, transmitted from the power transmission device through radio, and a load unit operated by the power received through the antenna. |
