PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal for press fit, in which a diameter of a contact part can be reduced while maintaining contact pressure equivalent to a contact part of a conventional connector terminal, and to provide a method for manufacturing the connector terminal for press fit.SOLUTION: A connector terminal 100 for press fit is configured by applying predetermined bending work to one metal plate having flexibility, and includes a pin part, an intermediate shaft part formed on the tip side of the pin part and a contact part 14 formed by arranging a plurality of contact pieces 13 each formed like a dogleg shape so as to surround the intermediate shaft part in a state where the longitudinal direction of the contact piece is directed along the longitudinal direction L of the intermediate shaft part and convexed to the outside. Combination parts 15, 16 each having a C-shaped cross section surrounding the intermediate shaft part are formed on the tip side and the base end side of the plurality of contact pieces 13 configuring the contact part 14. Each contact piece 13 is formed so that the center part is thick and the thickness is gradually thinned to the end part. The combination parts 15, 16 are formed thinner than the contact piece 13. |
