PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus capable of achieving cost reduction and miniaturization.SOLUTION: A camera apparatus 2 comprises: a wide angle camera unit 5 for imaging a monitoring area; a PTZ camera unit 6 for imagining, in the monitoring area, a target range that is set as a range that should be monitored; and a control device 7 for controlling both camera units 5 and 6. The control device 7 consists of a one-chip semiconductor device comprising: a first imaging control unit 31 for performing imaging control of the wide angle camera 5 on the basis of the imaging data imaged by the wide angle camera 5; a second imaging control unit 33 for performing imaging control of the PTZ camera unit 6 on the basis of the imaging data imaged by the PTZ camera unit 6; a target range setting unit 37 for setting the target range on the basis of the imaging data imaged by the wide angle camera unit 5; and a PTZ control unit 38 for controlling the imaging range of the PTZ camera unit 6 on the basis of the set target range.
