Disclosed is a method for producing an elastic image, comprising the steps of: transmitting, to an object, unfocused push signals including a plurality of ultrasonic signals each in a different direction; transmitting a detected ultrasonic signal to an object in which a shear wave is generated by the unfocused push signals; receiving a response signal to the detected ultrasonic signal from the object; and generating an elastic image of the object on the basis of the response signal.
