PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-cost and long-life equipment and a method for power supply not receiving or hardly receiving a meteorological influence, using renewable energy.SOLUTION: The power supply equipment includes: a wind power generator unit 10 for generating power using wind power; a transformation unit 12 for receiving power supplied from the wind power generator unit 10 to transmit a desired output, and for outputting surplus power when the power supplied from the wind power generator unit 10 exceeds the desired output; a heating unit 14 for heating, on receiving surplus power supplied from the transformation unit 12, a heat medium by the surplus power; a high-temperature tank 16 for storing the heat medium heated by the heating unit 14; and a steam generator unit 20 for generating power using the heat medium stored in the high-temperature tank 16, when the power supplied from the wind power generator unit 10 falls below the desired output, and for supplying the generated power to the transformation unit 12. |
