PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust muffler structure capable of securing the high rigidity and reducing radiation sound without increasing a plate thickness of a shell, applying a double structure and reducing a muffler volume.SOLUTION: A muffler body 16 is configured by vertically arranging an elliptical upper shell 21 and a lower shell 22 in the longitudinal direction. As a long axis can be shortened, and a curvature is increased in comparison with a muffler body composed of one shell, a volume of each shell can be relatively enlarged. Further as the long axis of each shell is shortened, high rigidity can be secured without increasing a plate thickness of the shell, applying a double structure, and reducing a muffler volume, and radiation sound can be reduced. |
