PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reductions in output and efficiency of an adsorption heat pump irrespective of changes in environmental temperature and the like.SOLUTION: An adsorption heat pump includes: an evaporator 12 evaporating a first fluid by heat exchange between a first fluid and a heat exchange fluid circulating in a pipe 21; an adsorber 14 that includes a fluid holding unit adsorbing the first fluid supplied from the evaporator 12 and desorbing the adsorbed first fluid, and a fluid circulation unit in which a supplied second fluid flows; a condenser 16 condensing the first fluid by heat exchange between the first fluid discharged from the adsorber 14 and the second fluid circulating in a pipe 36; temperature sensors 28, 34, and 40 detecting a temperature of the second fluid supplied to the adsorber 14, a temperature of the heat exchange fluid supplied to the evaporator 12, and a temperature of the second fluid supplied to the condenser 16, respectively; and a control unit 22 calculating a saturation vapor pressure from the detected fluid temperatures, calculating a relative pressure from the saturation vapor pressure, and changing an adsorption period and a desorption period of the adsorber 14 in response to the relative pressure. |
