<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a satisfaction level of a user with respect to digest video creation.SOLUTION: A video processing device includes: a receiving part for receiving a broadcast signal from a broadcasting station; and a digest video creation part which creates a digest video about m target programs (m is an integer 1 or larger) satisfying a prescribed condition on the basis of the received signal of the receiving part corresponding to the m target programs. The digest video creation part creates the digest video by using a creation criterion in accordance with a genre of the target program. For example, according to a first creation criterion, an editing ratio of a target program whose broadcast time of day is relatively recent is higher than an editing ratio of target programs whose broadcast times of day are relatively old. In the respective target programs, the editing ratio is a ratio of a section where the video in the target program is included in the digest video to all sections of the target program.</p> |
