<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording/reproducing device capable of solving problems in conventional dust removal method such as the size of an optical disk device gets larger, the head surface gets damages or dust is hardly removed efficiently.SOLUTION: The disk recording/reproducing device is arranged to store an information recording medium such as an optical disk and magnetic disk inside an air flow circulation acceleration wall; to generate a high speed air flow between the air flow circulation acceleration wall and the information recording medium accompanying the rotation of the information recording medium; and to collect dust in the air flow to prevent dust from adhering to the surface of the information recording medium and the head in a non-contact manner. To remove dust in a non-contact manner, static elimination and cleaning mode is executed to neutralize static charge to collect dust before carrying out recording or reproducing. Thus, dust is prevented from entering between the information recording medium and the head so as not adhere on to the information recording medium and head.</p> |
