<p>The present invention is directed to a droplet actuator test cartridge for verifying the operability of a microfluidics system, wherein the test cartridge provides a mechanism for performing diagnostics on a microfluidics system in an automated fashion. In particular, the test cartridge substantially mimics the functions of a droplet actuator and, in so doing, the driving and sensing/receiving functions of a microfluidics system with respect to a droplet actuator can be verified under program control.</p> |
