PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that hardly reduces operability even when a user is away from a screen, and is operable with a gesture operation.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an image pickup element that images a subject image; a hand detection part that detects a position of a hand of a subject from the subject image imaged by the image pickup element; a subject detection part that detects a position of the subject and a size thereof; an operation frame setting part that sets at least an operation frame to be fallen within a range reachable by the hand detected by the hand detection part in a periphery of the subject detected by the subject detection part; a cursor arrangement part that arranges a cursor at a position in a photographing screen corresponding to the position of the hand in the operation frame; a display part that displays the subject image imaged by the image pickup element, a plurality of symbols overlapping on the imaged subject image, the operation frame, and the cursor, and is visible from the subject; and a function execution part that executes a function corresponding to the symbol in responce to proximity of the cursor to any of the plurality of symbols. |
