PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide playing cards which allow fundamental principles of biology to be learned while playing with them.SOLUTION: Playing cards have four kinds of suits, where the four kinds of suits show adenine, cytosine, guanine, thymine, or uracil to be four kinds of bases of nucleotide composing DNA or RNA, and the number of cards of the respective suits is set to 20 that is the same as the number of amino acid regulated by the three of the bases. In an upper part on a left side and a lower part on a right side of the surface of each of the cards, an index 30 composed of a sign 32 representing a suit and a number 31 representing a rank is displayed, and a name 41 and a molecule model 40 of amino acid associated with the rank of the card are displayed on the card surface. In a game, points are earned when a codon represented by a suit combination of the three cards corresponds to an amino acid displayed in any of the cards, so that a correlation between the amino acid and the codon can be learned while playing. |
