PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately provide area information to one or more processing modules to be executed at user equipment.SOLUTION: User equipment 100 includes a processing module 132 which executes a process using basic area information and an area information supply module 134 which supplies basic area information to the processing module 132. The area information supply module 134 comprises: an event detecting section 1342 for detecting an event; an area information acquisition section 1344 for acquiring basic area information in accordance with detection of an event; and an area information notification section 1346 for notifying the processing module 132 of the basic area information. The area information acquisition section 1344 acquires detailed area information in response to request signal reception. The area information notification section 1346 notifies the processing module 132 of the detailed area information.
