<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which allows more reliable fixation of a wire by a metal terminal.SOLUTION: In a coil component 1 of the present invention, because a protrusion 13 is formed on a vertical wall 12G of a flange 12, a minimum distance d1 extending from the vertical wall 12G to wire fixing parts 41C and 42C is shorter than a minimum distance d2 extending from a vertical wall 12G of a flange 12 of a drum core 10 to electrode joint lines 41F and 42F. More specifically, because a gap between the flange 12 of the drum core 10 and the wire fixing parts 41C and 42C is small (or no gap at all), the wire fixing parts 41C and 42C can be sufficiently folded. Thus, in the coil component 1 mentioned above, wires 31 and 32 can be more reliably fixed by the wire fixing parts 41C and 42C of metal terminals 41 and 42.</p> |
