<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of improving convenience of editing operation of a user.SOLUTION: An image processing device for editing a moving image file recorded in a recording medium comprises designation means for designating one part of a moving image of a moving image file reproduced by reproduction means; display means for displaying information indicating the moving image of a portion designated by the designation means on a display device; and edition means for creating a new moving image file containing the moving image of the portion designated by the designation means. The edition means has a second edition mode for extracting moving image data for decoding the moving image of the portion designated by the designation means from the moving image file reproduced by the reproduction means to create a new moving image file. The display means displays that the moving image of a portion different from the portion designated by the designation means is contained in the new moving image file on the display device when edition is performed in a second mode.</p> |
