<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component capable of suppressing occurrence of blister.SOLUTION: External electrodes 20a, 20b electrically connected to exposed portions 18a, 18b of internal electrodes 16a, 16b are formed on end surfaces 12e, 12f sides of a ceramic main body 12 of a multilayer ceramic capacitor 10. A length in a direction where principal surfaces 12a, 12b of the ceramic main body 12 are connected to each other is formed to be shorter than a length of the external electrode 20a (20b) formed on the principal surfaces 12a, 12b of the ceramic main body 12, in other words, a length in a direction where the end surfaces 12e and 12f of the ceramic main body 12 are connected to each other. The external electrodes 20a, 20b have hollow parts 22a1, 22a2, 22b1, and 22b2 formed on the principal surfaces 12a, 12b. The external electrodes 20a, 20b on the principal surfaces 12a, 12b sides of the ceramic main body 12 each has a cross-section having two ridge shapes.</p> |
