<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demagnetization method and a demagnetizer thereof which allow for shortening of the processing time while reducing the highest required demagnetization field and demagnetization field strength, while allowing demagnetization of an internal rare earth magnet, without decomposing a rare earth magnet built-in apparatus.SOLUTION: A magnet to be demagnetized is arranged in a demagnetization coil so that a demagnetization field is applied in the right angle direction for the orientation direction of the magnet. Subsequently, a first attenuation vibration current is fed from a capacitor charged to a predetermined voltage to the demagnetization coil, and a first attenuation vibration magnetic field M1 is applied. Thereafter, the capacitor is recharged up to the predetermined voltage, and a second attenuation vibration current are fed from the capacitor thus recharged, so that the current is opposite to the first attenuation vibration current at start, and the peak magnetic field is substantially same as that of the first attenuation vibration magnetic field, before applying a second attenuation vibration magnetic field M2.</p> |
