<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metalized film capacitor which is adaptive to a large current, and arranged so that the delamination between a resin composition filled therein and externally leading terminal strips can be prevented and the conditions for its use including a wide temperature range and humidity resistance in addition to vibration resistance to be achieved over a long period of time.SOLUTION: Provided is a metalized film capacitor which comprises: a resin case having an opening; a capacitor element held in the resin case and having a wound metalized film and metallicon electrodes provided at opposing ends of the wound metalized film; externally leading terminal strips connected with the metallicon electrodes respectively; and a resin composition filled in the resin case with the capacitor element buried therein. In the metalized film capacitor, the externally leading terminal strips have grooves provided in portions on the side of the capacitor element where the strips are in contact with the resin composition.</p> |
