<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately control an attitude of an optical pickup device relative to an objective lens.SOLUTION: An optical pickup device includes a lens holder holding an objective lens, an actuator for driving the lens holder, and a pair of suspension wires connected between the actuator and opposite side surfaces of the lens holder so as to allow movement of the lens holder in a focusing direction and a tracking direction. Each of the opposite side surfaces has a projecting piece projecting in a position nearer to the actuator than the position to which the end of the suspension wire is connected, and the projecting piece includes an insertion hole to which the suspension wire is inserted, a slope formed so that the length of the suspension wire in its extending direction is gradually increased from the insertion hole toward the side surface, and a coated surface adjacent the slope and around the insertion hole, which is applied with an adhesive so as to fix the suspension wire to the projecting piece.</p> |
