<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately predict which components should be replaced and a replacement time.SOLUTION: An image inspection device comprises: a determination unit determining whether an inspection target image includes an abnormality by comparing a master image generated from image data with the inspection target image read from a recording medium on which an image based on the image data is formed; a specification unit, when the inspection target image includes an abnormality, specifying a type of the abnormality and an abnormality rank indicative of a degree of the abnormality; a prediction unit predicting which components are predicted to be broken and a time when the defect is predicted to occur on the basis of the type and rank of the abnormality; and a notification unit notifying a user of the predicted components and the predicted time.</p> |
