PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect pot temperature with high accuracy and stably and in a highly responsive and non-contact manner even in an environment of a wide temperature range and where temperature changes.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a top plate composed of crystallized glass, on a top face of which a cooking container is placed; a heating coil provided under the top plate, for generating an induction field to heat the cooking container; infrared detection means for detecting infrared rays radiated from a bottom of the cooking container and provided under the heating coil; and pot temperature detection means for detecting pot temperature from an output of the infrared detection means. The induction heating cooker further comprises, in addition to the infrared detection means: first temperature measurement means; second temperature measurement means; temperature compensation output calculation means for introducing a correction output from a temperature difference between the first and second temperature measurement means; and means for compensating for an output of the infrared detection means by the temperature compensation output. |
