PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device capable of reducing a detection error of an input coordinate even input operation is performed to a periphery.SOLUTION: The coordinate input device comprises: a coordinate input part 1 in which plural capacity detection parts are arranged in a matrix, and an operation body performs a proximity operation; a capacity measurement part 2 for measuring electric capacity for every capacity detection part, and converting measured electric capacity by AD conversion and then outputting it as a measurement signal; and a control part 3 for controlling the capacity measurement part 2, acquiring the measurement signal in association with coordinate information in the capacity detection part, calculating the measurement signal, and outputting a control signal based on the result of the calculation. The control part 3 determines an attention coordinate according to the coordinate information in the capacity detection part, and performs weighted average processing using a value of the measurement signal of the attention coordinate, and values of measurement signals of plural pieces of the coordinate information adjacent to surrounding of the attention coordinate. In the weighted average processing, calculation is performed by changing a total amount of the weight according to number of the measurement signals of the plural pieces of the coordinate information adjacent to the surrounding of the attention coordinate. |
