<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the variation of a cell gap in a display pixel area by efficiently performing the heat radiation of a liquid crystal display cell.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes a liquid crystal display cell 10 including a silicon substrate 20 having an image display area 22 where a pixel electrode 21 is formed on the side of one surface 30A, a glass substrate 30 having a common electrode 31 arranged opposite to the pixel electrode 21, and a liquid crystal 12 filled in a gap between the silicon substrate 20 and the glass substrate 30 and a heat radiation plate 40 which includes a recessed part 41 storing the liquid crystal display cell 10 and in which the bottom surface 43 of the recessed part 41 faces the silicon substrate 20. In the gap between the bottom surface 43 of the recessed part 41 and the silicon substrate 20, a first heat radiation material 14 is interposed into an area corresponding to the central part of the image display area 22 and a second heat radiation material 15 having a viscosity lower than that of the first heat radiation material 14 is interposed into an area around the central part, so as to surround the first heat radiation material 14.</p> |
